This accession consists of records created and maintained by the Pacific Region of the Canadian Coast Guard and its predecessors.

This accession contains, but is not limited to, administration and operational records including incident reports, boating safety, National SAR Plan, marine rescue, CCG small vessels partnerships, dredging, and research and development. This accession also includes records pertaining to marine international relations, foreign vessel clearance, United States Coast Guard as well as Bull Harbour, Bamfield, Campbell River, French Creek (Ex-Parksville), and the Kitsilano Coast Guard Base.

These records were originally held in British Columbia. They were transferred to the National Capital Region in 2016 and are available for consultation there.
