This accession consists of various administrative files fom the Deputy Minister's Office.
Part of it, dating from 1942 to 1972, are files from the Deputy Minister's office that originated either from Supply and Services (Deputy Minister G.W. Hunter and Jean Boucher) or from the Department of Defense Production (absorbed by Supply and Services in 1969). Some of these files originally from the Dept. of Defense Production cover, among other things, the aircraft carrier HMCS Bonaventure as well as Polymer Corporation Limited.
Another part consists of DM (supply) Management Committee meeting minutes from 1969 to 1982 (under Gordon Ward Hunter, Jean Boucher, J.M. Desroches and G.R. D'Avignon).
There are also records from the office of the Deputy Minister Jean Boucher concerning, among other things, the DDH 280 Class Destroyer Project. As well there are files, for the year 1977, related to the New Fighter Aircraft Program.
