Written and hosted by Sean Virgo, the series challenges the old stereotypes of vast, daunting, flat, and diminishing, and concentrates instead on the intimate, warm, detailed, and personal aspects of this great Canadian province. In this episode, Virgo explores Southern Sasktachewan, a place dotted with islands of trees that often outlast human settlements. We meet Bill Bryan of Neville, a man who dedicated himself to restoring the fascinating conifer forest and seminal fruit orchard that Norwegian homesteader Adolph Heyer created on the empty prairie. In this interactive documentary, filled with hypnotizingly expressive shots of the area, Bryan shares his vision with the host. <27mn>Langue :EnglishRemarques :Détails de l'inventaire : -
