This item was published in "The Gentleman's Magazine", October, 1759, opposite p. 452, along with a description of the battle for Quebec and an explanation to the references keyed on the map (see, Jolly, "Maps in British Periodicals," pt. 1, entry gent-136).
Explanation of the references found on the map: A, General Wolfe's camp at the Falls of Montmorenci; B, Major Hardy's post at the point of Orleans; C, Gen. Monckton's post at Point Levi; D, The English battery of guns and bombs; E, the French lines of entrenchment; F, the French camp; G, the field of battle.
