Recherche dans la collection - Pope John XXIII: Diosecan Synod of Rome 1960

This medal is in a case with an heraldic emblem (?) on the top., Obverse: bust of Pope John in cap and robes, profile to right., Reverse: a bearded male saint in a hairy tunic and a cloak, carrying a staff with a cross and cup, stands to the left of the altar (?), while on the right stands a female saint with a long robe, a covered head and holding a scroll and pen with beside her an eagle (?); beside the male saint is a large plant; both saints have haloes; on the altar (?) is an open book, while on its front is a cross and the letters alpha and omega; above is a bust of a bearded male figure, face frontal in robes with a halo, and above a cloud.
