This animated series is about the Silverwings, bats banished to the darkness after The Treaty of the Birds and Beasts, when the bats were punished for not taking sides during the epic war between these two kingdoms. Shade Silverwing is a teenage bat who challenges the ancient edict, unleashing a course of events that change history. In this episode, Shade is finally reunited with his colony in Hibernaculum and discovers his father, Cassius, may be alive after all. Bathsheba, leader of the Silverwings, secretly meets with Brutus, Commander of the Owls, and promises to deliver the traitors, Shade, Marina, Orestes, and Frieda in exchange for her continued leadership and the safety of the colony. <22mn>
