Accession consists of material collected by the Petawawa National Forest Institute in support of its forest management, survey, and classification activities. Topics include: fire maps; forest vegetation maps; classification maps, 1929-1932; calculations on heights of tree profiles; river reconnaissance and surveys in the N.W.T.; and sawmills of Canada.

Cartographic material: Many of the items are Ozalid or Mylar prints, with some linen. One of the atlases is an atlas factice: 1 atlas (19 leaves (some folded)) : 19 maps, col ; 67 x 67 cm.

Accession was transferred in August and September 1996 from the Petawawa National Forest Institute.
