Twenty-five thousand people attending in conditions of fog and rain. There are sequences of: a pan over thousands of spectators towards the race track where the horses are galloping towards the camera; a uniformed Royal Guard on horseback in formation while a thick crowd watches; a horse-drawn carriage pulling up and the Governor-General and other dignitaries and their wives getting out and walking together towards the stands; the jockies riding their horses onto the track from the stables surrounded by a crowd; the jockies lining up their horses; the horses making their starts at the signal and racing around the track; the winner (No. 5), Young Kitty, standing by the fence with its jockey sitting in the saddle, the owner holding a rope while a crowd hugs close to get a peek, of the Governor-General and his wife presenting the trophy to the winning owner while runners up wait in line. <59s>Langue :Silent with English intertitlesDétails de l'inventaire : -
