Recording consists of an original sound roll used in the production of the documentary film THE LEARNING PATH. Recording includes an interview with Heather Jacobs, school counsellor at Ben Calf Robe School, a contemporary First Nations-run junior high school in Edmonton, Alberta. Subjects discussed include the history of Ben Calf Robe School, the school's curriculum, and the safe environment Ben Calf Robe provides to Native children. <7mn>

1. Tape speed is 7 ½ ips.~2. Tape labels identify title as "The Learning World", the original working title. THE LEARNING PATH is the final release title.~3. THE LEARNING PATH is one of a five-part documentary series entitled AS LONG AS THE RIVERS FLOW.~4. Segments of the recording contain "wild" noise interspersed with the interview.~5. Interview with Jacobs begins mid-way through sound reel 39. Interview is preceded with the last part of talk by Olive Dickason. See ISN 340991 for description of talk by Dickason.
