Accession includes material pertaining to the construction of the Bonaventure at the Harland & Wolff Shipyard, Belfast, Northern Ireland, in the mid-1950s, and to a refit at the Halifax Dockyard in 1966-1967.
There is a wide range of drawing numbers: the Canadian Naval Headquarters Curator numbers are in the 210001-211999, 310001-311999 and 403501-410999 ranges; the Halifax Dockyard numbers range from 8279 to 23436; plus a variety of outside numbers. Also, the drawings can have a combination of Harland & Wolff, Halifax Dockyard and outside numbers.

Accession transferred in Oct. 1992 from DPGS 3-4-4, Director of Publishing & Graphic Services, Data Services, Records Management, Land & Maritime.
