Film about the visit of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan as part of their tour of Canada in 1939. It shows: the King and Queen welcomed by Saskatoon Mayor Carl Niderost; inspection of Saskatoon Light Infantry honour guard; school children holding coloured placards to form a Union Jack; Girl Guides; a little girl presenting a floral tribute to the Queen; the presentation of prominent persons from Saskatoon and vicinity to the King and Queen; the King and Queen driving through the city in an open car as crowds line the streets; the Queen seated in the car holding an umbrella for shade from the sun; motorcycle escort and cars following the open car; the Royal Couple driving past a hospital as staff wait in front; people standing on roof of Massey-Harris factory building; Saskatoon Bread Company sign on another building and the King and Queen getting out of the car and going to a canopied platform where they sign a guest book and greet people.
