Rabinovitch begins by describing a document and photographs he has in his possession including an original working card, a document given to Jewish people in the ghettos without which they would be arrested, one photo of German soldiers, and a second photo of a group of clergy and intellectuals one hour before they were killed in Lithuania. The discussion then turns to the day of 28 October 1941 when 30,000 Jewish people in Kaunas, Lithuania were segregated into two groups, resulting in the shooting death of 10,500. Rabinovitch, one of the "lucky ones" speaks of his experiences on the day of 28 October 1941, the selection made by SS Officer Helmut Rauca, his experiences while living and working in the ghetto, and his memories of Helmut Rauca, a man known in the ghetto as "The Devil". <31mn 33s>Langue :EnglishRemarques :Détails de l'inventaire : -
