Supporting visuals include montages of ships; Viking sailing ships; a wagon train; and railways. Sequences deal with container transportation, pipeline construction, seaway shipping, the construction of a super tanker, a giant humpyard, and hovercraft. Medium close-up's of slabs of Egyptian hieroglypics followed by a montage of space age communications gadgetry. London, England is well shown in a slow, low level aerial from over the Thames.
