The woman at the right side is dressed in a plain green striped business jacket with a green skirt, representative of the work place, and is holding a sign, in her right hand, which almost completly covers the face of the woman beside her. The first woman's left hand is clenched in a fist and her expression is one of anger and determination - her open mouth conveying the impression that she is shouting something at the viewer, an act of protest symbolic of the new woman in today's society., The unknown woman standing at the left is dressed in a brighter more feminine attire - a pink blouse with floral designs and yellow skirt - a more casual type of dress representative of the home.
