Opening sequences depict the positioning of the officers in relation to Nixon's motorcade route through Ottawa. Also footage of student and militant protestors such as the World Socialist Front and the Communist Party of Canada. The narrator states that Arthur H. Bremmer, who later shot Governor George Wallace, was present on Parliament Hill during Nixon's second day.
