TV series on the arts and artists. Host Henry Comor introduces the work of the Group of Seven with particular emphasis on Lawren Harris. Harris is then interviewed by Percy Saltzman. He talks about: his early interest in painting, his artistic life, and the history of the Group and its effect on society. Harris defends the abstract tendency of his painting and feels that he has not yet done his best work. He says that he has no idea of the future of art, nor of the importance of the work of the Group. Film includes stills of the other members of the Group and of their work: J.E.H. MacDonald; A.Y.
