This plate representating part of the Town & Harbour of Halifax in Nova Scotia, looking down George Street to the opposite Shore called Dartmouth, [Title & Key repeated in French at rt.]- Is most humbly inscribed by his Lordship's most devoted Servant - R: Short, [With the arms of the Earl of Halifax at the centre] 1 King's Yard, 2 Barracks, 3 Printing House, 4 Pontacks. Drawn on the Citadel Hill design'd & publish'd by R. Short, March 1, 1764."
