This cartoon depicts recruiting division of the Canadian Armed Forces considering using a 'Press Gang' to gather recruits. Newspaper spread on the directors desk indicate that there is a problem getting recruits. The cartoon slightly soiled on the edges., This cartoon was part of the "Pictured Opinions" exhibition of editorial cartoons sponsored by the P.A.C. and the American Editorial Cartoonists. The exhibition opened in May 1974 and a photostat of this cartoon was added in Nov. 1974 to up-date the display., G.D. Scott (Scotty) is editorial cartoonist for the (Sentinel) an Armed Forces newspaper.
