(colour notations, light green, dark green); inscribed in pen and brown ink, on folio, across b.: The Southern Shore of the St. Lawrence. When the ground of each settler is cleared, a house / is built - and as he prospers, a barn. Each settler has a frontage of about 3 acres - with 90 acres inland / Behind the river front settlers other rows are placed.
