The division among Nova Scotians regarding the possible spraying of the forests against the spruce budworm. Because there is the fear that use of insecticides may harm the environment and cause death to some children, types of insecticides are examned and discussed for their safety and effectiveness. Interviews bring us the views of politicians, industrialists, scientists, farmers, and grieving mothers to help us decide what the government should do about the most serious infestation of spruce budworms in recent history. A look is also taken at the life-cycle of this insect. Various comments are made. <30mn>
