News special on the victory of Robert Bourassa's Liberal party in the Province of Québec. As the music of "Mon Pays, C'est l'Hiver" plays on the soundtrack, Alan Hustak introduces journalists Laurent Laplante from "Le Devoir" and Pierre Pascau from CTV's Montreal office who will comment on the results of the election. The Liberals gained 100 seats (out of 110) as they defeated Yvon Dupuis' Social Credit and René Lévesque's Parti québécois, and Henry Champ and George Frajkor are shown at election headquarters describing the events. Percy Saltzman interviews Robert Bourassa, Bruce Phillips introduces Pierre E. Trudeau who is aked to comment on the Liberal victory. Mr. Trudeau speaks of a victory for Federalism and states that this is probably the last we will hear of Separatism in Québec.
