Margot Andersen reports on the Centretown Health Centre grant. The Kellog Foundation has given the Centre a $1.1 million grant for a health advisory program, aimed at examining how people's daily habits can affect their health. We look at the program Healthstyles, and the people involved. Interviews include: participants Wendy Dunlop and Ward Carson; co-ordinator Alison Black; and evaluator Ian McDowell.~The Animal Rights Movement is becoming more militant and extreme, and it is moving into Canada. The Animal Liberation Front has attacked the Schneider Meat plant in Waterloo, Ontario, and on February 15, a letter bomb was delivered to Canada House in London. Footage of news reports on the incident follow. Harry Roswell of the Canadian Council on Animal Care talks about how he ensures careful treatment of the animals used in research and how the Animal Rights People regard him. Students at Churchill Avenue Public School are asked how they feel about animal slaughtering, and give a variety of reactions. Neil Jotham, Executive Director of the Federation of Humane Societies, says that advances can be made in testing and experimenting with animals in a more humane way than presently done.~Finally, Esther Klein, President of the Canadian Animal Defence League, talks about why there is now a more radical movement and what the League is after. <30mn>
