A public information show concerned with the issues of our society. Brian Smyth hosts this show which profiles the Ottawa rock group RPM. The members of the group are interviewed about their ambitions, hobbies and lifestyles. Lead vocalist Ian McLeish is shown managing an Ottawa record store; lead guitarist John Millest is shown at home making furniture and guitars; percussionist Chuck Kerr is shown managing a childrens shoe store; and drummer Jeff Harris is shown at his job at Saunder geophysics, where he works as a geo-technical data processor. Treble Clef owner Harvey Glatt is interviewed in his office regarding the groups talent and their chances at obtaining commercial radio air play. Throughout the show, RPM are shown rehearsing. They perform three songs: You Took Me By Surprise; I Wanna BE With You; and Heartbreaker/Dreamtaker. <30mn>
