For a price, students learn about woodcraft, handling emergencies, rock climbing, and water skills. Camera cuts to rock climbers performing on a cliff and lowering a "casualty" by means of a special rig. Knapp listens in on a class learning about wild food and surviving in the brush taught by Stewart Guy. Knapp also visists the School's water activity department at Lac Fournier near Mont Ste-Marie. There students learn how to handle kayaks, voyageur canoes and ordinary craft.
