Famine 150
The Great Irish Famine 150th Anniversary CommemorationDescription :From 1819 to 1850, 70% of all immigrants to New Brunswick were from Ireland and Saint John was the major gateway for up to 150,000 of them. In "Black '47" Saint John was the second busiest North American port of entry for the famine immigrants. About 16,000 sailed in on 106 vessels during that tragic spring, summer and autumn. This is the story of those who died and those who survived and helped to build the country. <22mn>Langue :EnglishRemarques :Détails de l'inventaire : -
