Amateur film with footage of:~Colour footage of Saint John, New Brunswick, scenes of cockpit in Anson, and landing and taxiing at Fort Saint John.~Norman Wells, NWT: Flight Officer Pearce working on Anson engine. Shot of RCAF Mitchell taking off on gravel strip. Lockheed Electra (CP Air) taxiing and taking off for its bi-weekly service run to the NWT. Various scenes of ground activity: caterpillar tractor towing construction equipment, drilling oil fields, putting out oil fire, and burning an oil drum for conversion into a bathtub.~Fort Smith, NWT: Various ground activity: Flight Officer Pearce shaving, a dark aerial shot of buffalo herd, and the dining tent after having collapsed from a wind storm. Forest fire, smoke in distance. Black and white footage of Canso amphibian.~Sequence en route to White Horse from Norman Wells: aerial shots of snowy mountain peaks. Colour footage of the interior of cockpit with Flight Officer Pearce and navigator.~Moncton: paddle-wheel automobile ferry.~Calgary: Cessna Crane training aircraft; in-flight pursuit training.~Family footage (1948): Ottawa Flying Club at Uplands. A Finch landing, and a shot of the clubhouse. Sequences at Golden Lake: family recreation with Father Costello. Killaloe Airport: shot of several Tigermoths painted in OFC colours on field, and a shot of repainted Cessna.
