Bushnell, former vice-president of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), condcuted in Ottawa. Bushnell recounts how he got his start in broadcasting, as an announcer and radio musician in Toronto in 1927, how he was recruited by the Canadian Radio Broadcasting Commission (CRBC) and then joined the CBC as program director. Prior to World War II he traveled throughout Europe on behalf of the CBC, and then continued on to assist the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) in organizing its North American shortwave service. After the war he returned to Canada to rejoin the CBC.
