Lyman Potts, who both started working in radio in the early 1930s, conducted in Toronto, Ontario. Trueman started on a children's radio show in Saint John, New Brunswick, created the Uncle Bill Show, and worked for CFBO Saint John, which became CHSJ. He and eventually became manager of CFBC. Potts started at CHWC Regina (which became CKCK), then he moved to Hamilton to work for CKOC. He helped put CKSL London on the air, then eventually moved to CJAD Montreal. The two talk about their lengthy careers in broadcasting and the following subjects are discussed: job duties, pay, equipment, the people they worked with, the exciting and innovative times of early radio, mobile broadcasts, live programs, the formation of Canadian Broadcasting Corporation in 1936, and the role of the Board of Broadcast Governors (BBG). <1h 42mn>Langue :EnglishRemarques :Détails de l'inventaire : -
