Second part of a program in this mystery thriller series. As the scene opens, Walter Darrow is told by his accomplice in crime, Evelyn Gilbert, to hide in the closet where the recently murdered Mrs. Darrow reposes. Mrs. Darrow's brother, Mr. Benson, appears at the front door searching for Mrs. Darrow's devoted dog, who was in his care, but has run off to look for his mistress. Evelyn gets rid of Benson, then orders Walter to bury the body in the garden. The dog is heard in the background. The story concludes as Walter and Evelyn await their midnight execution. The dog also waits and watches outside the prison gate The program's host draws a moral: "Better let a sleeping dog lie, because if you don't, he may tell the truth". <15mn>
