Newsreel story from Copper Cliff, a mining town in Northern Ontario, where children ages 10 to 16 play in the Midget National Hockey League. They sign "good behaviour contracts" that pledge them to keep out of trouble and attend to their school work. They wear uniforms that bear the crests of big league teams such as the New York Rangers, Toronto Maple Leafs, Detroit Red Wings and Montreal Canadiens. They play in a large stadium to large crowds. Gordon Alcott of Copper Cliff organized the league eight years ago. Boys ages eight and nine play on farm teams which serve as the training ground for the older teams.
