Royal Commission to Investigate Charges of Political Partisanship against Mr. E.L. Paradis, Civilian Personnel Officer, RCAF Station, Mont Apica, in the Province of Quebec (Canada) : The Royal Commission to Investigate Charges of Political Partisanship against Mr. E.L. Paradis, Civilian Personnel Officer, R.C.A.F. Station, Mont Apica, in the Province of Quebec was established under Order in Council P.C. 102, 28 January 1960, under Part I of the Inquiries Act (R.S.C., 1952, c.154) and on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice. The Commission was mandated to inquire into charges of political partisanship against Mr. E.L. Paradis, Civilian Personnel Officer, R.C.A.F. Station, Mont Apica, in the Province of Quebec and to report the result of such inquiries. The Commissioner was J. Victorien Tremblay.

In 1960, a Royal Commission was appointed by the Government of Canada to investigate charges of political partisanship against Edmond Louis Paradis. The commissioner had to determine whether political considerations directly influenced decisions resulting in the dismissals of Janic Laforest and Rémi Gaudreault from their jobs at the Royal Canadian Air Force (R.C.A.F.) Station, Mont Apica, Quebec, and their subsequent replacement by other employees. (See Order in Council P.C. 102, 28 January 1960.)

The commission's report, undated and untitled, was not tabled in the House of Commons. A photocopy of the report, 8 leaves, is available in the records of this Commission.
