Kiwanis Club Holds Outing on Isle Perrot, Quebec. An old-time picnic is keenly enjoyed by the Kiwanis Club of Montreal. Dr. Copeland, health commissioner of New York, removes his jacket, rolls up a sleeve and receives the first vaccine from a nurse and a doctor. A large group of children arrive at a building and two children receive vaccinations.~Reducing the H.C. of L. Animated cartoon by Bert Green wherein a man is sold a suit that does not fit. He is shown in a clothing store. He asks for one of the specials marked down from $300 to $30. The salesman returns with a jacket. The saleman manhandles the jacket to make it look like it fits. The man buys it. He tells his wife he saved $270. He disappears behind a screen to put on the suit. He says that the pants fit tight under the arms. He appears in the ill-fitting suit. His wife collapses on seeing him in it.~First Coast-to-Coast Airmail Flight. The first transcontinental airmail flight takes off from Central Park, New York City for San Francisco. Seen are: several Junkers F-13 on the field and the corrugated skin of one of the aircraft.; a row of planes with propellers turning; a closer shot of some of the planes and a group of the pilots being briefed. Next is a medium shot of two men on the wing of the plane. One loads a bag, presumably the mail. He gets in, followed by the second man. The pilot is in the cockpit, which is forward of the cabin. Captain Eddie Rickenbacker, seated in the open cockpit, waits. He is described as the official courrier. Another intertitle says "Rapid progress of air-mail service makes it possible to reduce time of delivery across continent from 5 to 2½ days".
