Locke begins with a discussion of the importance of the production crew in producing a drama. She then turns to a discussion of her newest project, THE GREENING OF IAN ELLIOT. Continuing with an overview of public and private broadcasting, Locke talks about the importance of audience ratings and budgets allocations, and the differences inherent in producing news and public affairs programming and drama productions. Other topics include a comparison of American and Canadian television audiences, creating a musical score for drama productions and many aspects of writing and producing for CBC television.
