Consequently the Raflant's water supply was contaminated by oil, and the ground nearby became highly explosive as a result of a gasoline spillage from a ruptured tank. No response from the government is given. 2. Follow-up on the controversy surrounding spruce budworm spraying. Spraying has continued in New Brunswick despite environmental hazards, and in Fraser Valley, British Columbia, the budworm infestation has disappeared through natural causes. 3. An examination of the Municipal Enabling and Validating Act which allows the expropriation of a landowner without compensation. The focus is on such case in Richmond, a Vancouver suburb.
