The devastating result of these forces is land erosion, air and water pollution, and the destruction of wildlife and forests.~At a recent conference called "Resources for Tomorrow" in Montreal, two men concerned with the future of Canada's natural resources talked with INQUIRY. They are: Dr. Bill Carr, a consulting economist specializing in agriculture, and Frazer Symington, a freelance writer specializing in resource issues. They criticize the federal government's refusal to take an important role in resource management. One step in the right direction is the recent formation of the Agricultural Rehabilitation and Development Administration (ARDA). One of its jobs will be to develop a National Land Use Policy.Langue :EnglishRemarques :Détails de l'inventaire : -
