This sub-series consists of maps that were created in the Canadian Geographic Information System. The Quebec Miscellaneous Collection was part of the Canada Lands Data System Division, Lands Directorate data holdings that were managed in the Canadian Geographic Information System (CGIS). The Collection consists of nine projects:
Anticosti Island Water Basin (Project 3190-0094). Coverages include: (933) Water Basins - Anticosti, (scanner input); (934) Water Basins - Anticosti, linear digitized input test map for the Quebec Lands and Forests and indicates three levels of drainage basins. Coverages are at the 1:250 000 scale.
Contour Terrain Model (Project 3190-0166). Coverage (9134) Contour Terrain Model, is a test sheet used to produce a color map for demonstration purposes. Coverage is at the 1:50 000 scale.
Gatineau Park Study (Project 475-2101). Coverages include: (8018) Gatineau Park Beaver, point data is an update of beaver distribution and habitat within the park; (9201) Gatineau Park Forest and Vegetation, depicts some 3747 unique vegetation polygons and characterizes them in terms of forest cover and species, shrubs, grasses and mosses at 1:25 000 scale; (9208) Recreation, Beaver, Drainage, identifies recreation zoning of Gatineau Park into five different zones and 18 different sub-zones; Beaver distribution delimits some 40 areas classified for beaver distribution in five classes; Drainage information is divided into 4 drainage areas and 17 sub-drainage areas, at the 1:50 000 scale; (9209) Relief Gatineau Park, is mapped as 141 land elevation polygons with seven height classes using an unequal interval classification scheme, at the 1:50 000 scale; (9210) Deer - Gatineau Park, 1973-1974 Study is mapped in five abundance classes; there is a further 1978 study which maps the presence or absence in various regions of the park, at the 1:50 000 scale; (9211) Slopes Gatineau Park, escarpment and slope information is mapped as 1164 slope polygons described in seven textual classes at 1:50 000 scale; (9212) Soiles Gatineau Park, soils and soil drainage are mapped as 226 unqique polygons with a complex definition of soil type and soil drainage classes at the 1:50 000 scale; (9223) Geomorphology, coverage is represented as 866 unique polygons, each coded with one of eight unique geomorphologic descriptions at the1:50 000 scale; (9240) Shoreline Gatineau Park, depicts lakes and double line rivers and various water types within and around Gatineau Park at 1:25 000 scale; (9277) Gatineau Park Deer 1980-83 shows deer abundance, presence or absence in regions of the park at 1:50 000 scale.
James Bay Ecological Data (Project 3118-36). Coverage (9129) James Bay Project, the project was funded by the Federal Government and the manuscripts and data was prepared by the Province of Quebec. This coverage is at the 1:125,000 scale.
Ministere des loisirs Chasse et Peche (ZACS) (Project 524-2103). Coverage (9207) ZACS, is a Pilot project covering Management and Conservation zones in Quebec at the 1:250 000 scale.
ODPQ Municipalities Urban Areas (Project 524-2001). Coverage (9149) Quebec Hydro cote-nord projet, depicts ecology, north eastern Quebec physiography as polygon data, at 1:125 000 scale.
ODPQ Municipalities Urban Areas (Project 524-2101). Coverage (9144) ODPQ, was a special coverage of two maps in the Quebec region with municipality codes, urban communities, watersheds and agriculture information to be used with CLI information, at the 1:50 000 scale.
Special Project for ODPQ (Project 3190-0185). Coverage (M21X) consists of CLI Coverage for 7 EA's.
Pergelesol, Quebec (Project 524-4005). Coverage (9323) Pergelesol Northern Quebec, contains vegetation structures, relief, climate indications, mineral deposits, at the1:50 000 scale.
