Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the British Columbia Regional Office of Indian and Northern Affairs Canada and its predecessors. Predecessors include: the Campbell River District Office, North Island District Office, West Coast Agency, and the Kwawkewlth Agency.

The accession includes, but is not limited to records relating to: engineering services, including electric power services; school buildings; administration buildings; band management, including minutes of council; organization and administration, including ethnological, anthropological and historical research; welfare, including housing; surveys and reserves; rights-of-way; leases; law enforcement, including game and fisheries laws; natural resources, including fishing; and trust funds, including trust account statements, and interest distribution.
