Migrant farmworkers in Ontario, selection of photographs from series "Harvest Pilgrims" project. Workers are from Mexico, Jamaica, Trinidad, Barbados, West Indies and the smaller islands of the eastern Caribbean. They work on various Ontario farms - peaches in Niagara, apples in Prince Edward County and Georgian Bay, tomatoes near Leamington in Essex County, all manner of vegetables on the farms of the Holland Marsh north of Toronto and the Haldimand-Norfork region, and finally, the tobacco on the north shore of Lake Erie..
