Aerial photographs taken by or for the Polar Continental Shelf Project in the documentation used for its sea ice atlas. Black and white aerial photographs, evidently taken at some time in the 1960s from a helicopter, of an unidentified area in northern Canada. Black and white nine by nine inch aerial photographs taken 13 June 1962 in and around Ward Hunt Island; the photographs are annotated with information about the flight, location, date, height, etc. 35mm Kodachrome slide aerial views taken from small planes of ice conditions across the Arctic during the period 1969-1979. All of these slides are annotated with the film roll number, picture number, date, time, altitude, course, and subject being noted on paper sheets which are found at the beginning of each year's photography.
