Family film of a CPR train trip from McAdam to Saint John, New Brunswick. Following an establishing shot of the McAdam, NB train station, the camera records the scenery along the right of way including buildings, lakes, the train tracks, etc. Included are shots of women playing golf, two women strolling on a city sidewalk, parks, and a flower garden. The camera follows scenes in and around St. Andrews, St. George, and Saint John. Seen are the Van Horne Island and the Estate. One view of Saint John includes King Street with old trolley cars and some traffic. Also shown is a view of the old fish factory and employee's housing at Chamcook. Seen is Miss Van Horne, daughter of Sir William Van Horne; people at a beach; and a family posing for a formal picture in front of their home. <11mn 20s>
