This album, comprised of 45 pages on which 44 photographs are mounted, describes areas in Yukon Territory, as well as British Columbia and Alaska. More specifically, there are photographs of the development of Whitehorse, Yukon and the W.P. and Y.R.R. train tracks. Photos produced by the National Film Board. Photographs date from the ca. 1950s.

The following are places found in the album: Kluksku Native village; Whitehorse Rapids; Lewes River; Tagish Lake; Lake Bennett, British Columbia; Emerald (Rainbow) Lake; Kathleen Lake; Tunnel Mountain; Sawtooth Mountains; Miles Canyon; Kluane Lake; Thirty Mile River; Burwash Landing; Haines Junction, Yukon; village of Champagne; Whitehorse; Alaska Highway; Carcross, Yukon.

The following events can be found in the album: cutting wood (wood cutting camp of B.C. Yukon Navigation Company); train skirting shore at Bennett Station, Lake Bennett, British Columbia.

The following objects can be found in the album: Native cabin; Roman Catholic church, Burwash Landing; train; train tracks (W.P. and Y.R.R.); airport at Whitehorse; old log Anglican church, Whitehorse; S.S. This album was originally part of accession 1974-366, which had been integrated into 1973-357. It has since been separated back into the two individual accessions of 1973-357 and 1974-366.
