This album, comprised of 40 pages on which 35 photographs are mounted, primarily consists of waterscapes taken while on board the "Terra Nova" and photographs of Inuit from Clyde River, Dundas Harbour, and Cambridge Bay. There is one photograph taken from an R.C.A.F. Dakota airplane of an arctic sunset. Photos by Alex Stevenson.

The following places can be found in the album: Cumberland Gulf, N.W.T.; R.C.M.P. detachment, Dundas Harbour; Dundas Harbour; H.B.Co. trading post, Cambridge Bay; Pangnirtung Fiord; Inuit igloo village.

The following events can be found in the album: bringing dogs aboard the "Terra Nova"; dog teams arriving at trading post; arctic sunset from R.C.A.F. Dakota plane; "Snowbird II" in the ice.

The following objects can be found in the album: icebergs; cargo; snow goggles; Hudson's Bay Company peterhead boat; "Terra Nova", boat; Inuit igloo.

The following people can be found in the album: Inuit; Inuit woman with tattooed face; Inuit hunters; Alex Stevenson and Nugetugbik, with caribou (hunted).

Print 33-1939 is missing "A. Stevenson with group of Eskimo before leaving for return trip from Fort Ross to Arctic Bay, 1939". Note that it was noticed missing on Jan. 12, 1989 by L.R.
