This album, comprised of 116 pages on which 388 photographs are mounted, is a further continuation of Burwash's 1924 expedition to the Arctic for the government, plus further travels in 1925 and 1926 for the government. Photos by L.T. Burwash, special investigator for the Department of the Interior. The 1924 photographs are mostly of places in Labrador and Newfoundland, such as Cartwright, Cornerbrook and Humbermouth. There are also photos of the railway development in that area; the Newfoundland government, and Canadian National railways are documented. The 1925 photographs are of Burwash's 1925 expedition, accompanying a Hudson's Bay Co. supplies trip. There is documentation of the murders of some Inuit men in Cambridge Bay. Photos include the widows, witnesses and the murderer. A large portion of the 1926 photographs are portraits of Inuit from Melville Peninsula, Pelly Bay, Southampton Island, and Baker Lake.
