Description :

Shots of Douglas DB-7 Boston bombers in flight as they head for the French coast in August 1943 and fly over enemy territory in the vicinity of Abbeville. Aerial shots of the ground are seen from speeding aircraft, including a house seen not far below through the nose canopy. The RCAF and RAF bomb Duren, Germany on 16 November 1944. Higher shots are seen of smoke and fires. Aerial shots from the bomb bay of a Lancaster showing Duren, Germany. Aerial views of two Lancaster bombers flying below the camera plane, with bombs dropping from the bay. The city of Duren is seen far below, hit by explosions and fires.
