The series also contains photographs pertaining to John Ritchie MacNicol's role in the re-discovery and partial restoration of Fairfield village (Moraviantown) Ontario: two photos of Inuit at Nueltin Lake, N.W.T., 1950; portrait of Martha Black, M.P., 1939; glass slides used by MacNicol to illustrate his lectures on irrigation and flood control, ca. 1948; floods of the Becancour River, Chateauguay River, Chaudier River, Mille Isles River, Nicolet River and River St-Francois, in Quebec, between 1917 and 1942.
