Television public affairs program with hosts Mary Lou Finlay and Paul Soles. Jack Ludwig is into the philosophy of hockey; he has written among others, "Hockey Night in Moscow" and "Games of Fear and Winning". The latter book says that pre-game urinanalysis shows hockey players are much more on edge than other athletes. He's fascinated by total Canadian identification with 1972 Team Canada. He says that there's "more dumbness" in the National Hockey League (N.H.L.) and hockey in general than any other sport, not among the players but with the coaches and owners. Ludwig sees hockey violence as an example of this stupidity and inflexibility. Sinclair Stevens, in the series of P.C. leadership hopefuls. He says there's a silent majority out there who want a conservative approach. Canada wants growth, with profit as evidence of efficiency; Canada wants business.
