Maps show the Upper Mackenzie Valley and include the following areas: Baillie Island; Bonneville Point; Cape Dalhousie; Denis High Hill; Ellice Island; Garry Island; Hansen Harbour; Holmes Creek; Hooper Island; Kendall Island; Kidluit Bay; Maitland Point; Neil Lake; Noell Lake; Novorak Point; Parsons Lake; Pelly Island; Tumunuk; and Volverine Lake. These records were created by either the Army Survey Establishment of the Dept. of National Defence or the Surveys and Mapping Branch of the Dept. of Mines and Technical Surveys. They were used and annotated by agents of the Canadian Wildlife Service in the documentation of the Canadian Reindeer Project.

Twenty-five maps were created by the Army Survey Establishment, Dept. of National Defence. Three maps were produced by the Surveys and Mapping Branch, Dept. of Mines and Technical Surveys.

Cartographic material: Several maps have been annotated in pencil or blue ink.

Cartographic material: There is some minor wear and tear to several maps.

The maps were transferred in 1978 from the Public Records Division (Acc. no.: 77-8/155.) They originated in the Edmonton office of the Canadian Wildlife Service.
