Fonds consists of transcripts and audio recordings documenting interviews conducted as part of an oral history project by the University of New Brunswick School of Administration. This material has been divided into a separate series entitled University of New Brunswick School of Administration.

Also included in fonds is a film entitled Saturday produced in 1986 by Ilkay Silk and Peter Wood through the University of New Brunswick, Audio Visual Services, Video Centre. The film portrays a day in the life of a drinking student, Larry.

In addition, fonds includes a silkscreen print of the coat of arms of the University of New Brunswick.

University of New Brunswick : The University of New Brunswick was founded in 1785 in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Originally named the Provincial Academy of Arts and Sciences, the institution was renamed in 1800 as the College of New Brunswick, in 1828 as King's College, and in 1859 as the University of New Brunswick. In 1859 it abolished religious qualifications, and in 1886 opened its doors to women. Today, the University offers 70 undergraduate and 60 graduate programs in many areas, including engineering, forestry and environmental management, science, administration, kinesiology, law, nursing, business, computer science, and arts. It has campuses in Fredericton and St. John, New Brunswick. The Canadian Encyclopedia. 2002. . 1538

Note générale :

Transcripts and sound recordings received between 1976 and 1978 from the University of New Brunswick School of Administration. Moving image material was received in 1986 from the University of New Brunswick, Audio Visual Services, Video Centre. Silkcreen print was received in 1966 from the University of New Brunswick.

Note sur les expositions :

Saturday (1986) received an Award of Merit for concept and cinematography at the 1986 Atlantic Festival Atlantique.
