Ryan reads excerpts from a family diary that she inherited. Several entries of the diary refer to the history of the area including the blinding of Rory McDonald in 1877. She also recalls how tuberculosis killed seven members of the same family among the Ryan ancestors and their home was eventually burned down to destroy the contamination. Ryan describes her school days as a boarder at the Mount St. Patrick convent and concludes the interview with a discussion of the murder of Peter [Sant], a story which has become one of the many legends of the Ottawa Valley.Langue :EnglishDétails de l'inventaire : -
