Note générale :

The collection consists of the work done by Irmgard von Schwerin at her Montreal gallery, the Atelier Comtesse. It includes numerous assignments for weddings and other similar occasions; but also includes material relating to Expo '67; visitors to Expo '67; the Montreal Symphony under Franz-Paul Dekker; and other subjects. Also included are numerous exhibition prints of Montreal notables such as former mayor Jean Drapeau, and head of the 1976 Olympics Committee, Roger Rousseau..
Manuscript
The physical condition in 1985 was generally okay, although some colour fading in some prints was noted; and varnish on linen prints was discolouring. Many mounted prints had pressure-sensitive tape on them..
